GP Registrars / Foundation Doctors
For many years the practice has been proud to train the next generation of GPs.
- GP Registrars are fully qualified doctors undergoing specialist postgraduate training in General Practice.
- Foundation doctors have completed their medical degrees and undertake a two-year training programme for newly qualified doctors.
At times we also have Medical Students with the practice team. Medical Students are at an earlier stage of training than the GP Registrars.
Medical Students can assess, undertake examinations, prescribe and refer to secondary care and work closely with our GPs.
You may be asked if you would be happy to see a Medical Student when we offer you an appointment.
All GP Registrars and Medical Students are supervised daily by a GP at the practice.
